I wanted to get one more stone posted before the end of the month. I started cutting this one last night, and just finished up tonight. This is a Spinel from Mahenge Morogoro Tanzania. The cut is my juiced up round design with 2 extra tiers of facets. This makes for a very bright stone without extinction. The stone is 5.96 mm, so 6 mm for all practical purposes, and a very easy size to find a mounting for. Don't forget to sign up for the RSS feed. It's on the right hand column of this page.
