Precision Gem

The file below is free to download. It's a program that will run on Windows, and is used to calculate the optic sign and character of a gemstone by entering reading you have made with your refractometer. Take two or more sets of inputs (preferably 6), enter them in the input screen and the program will calculate the min and max refractive index, and the optical character and sign of the stone. This is very useful information to help you identify your gemstone.
To use the program, download the file, and unzip it. Then run the set up. The file is rather large, only because it contains the Microsoft .NET runtime modules.
