Gem 1263 - Blue Tourmaline - 1.72 ct. A blue tourmaline from Nigeria cut in a frosted star design. I had not cut this design in a few years, and really felt like doing one today. This stone is a blue tourmaline from Nigeria that has not been heated or treated. The stone measures 7.226 mm and the cut is deep to accommodate the star. To form the star there are 2 tiers of facets that are frosted, with a polished outline.

Gem 1243 - Blue Tourmaline - 2.56 ct. Here's a stone from Nigeria, that is cut in a fancy oval with a diamond checker crown. The stone measures 12.2 x 9.1 mm. The color on this is a blue/teal color. Loupe clean.

Gem 1198 - Sunset Tourmaline - 2.03 ct. This sunset tourmaline is a mix of yellow and burnt orange/brown with just a touch of green. Makes for a nice fall colored stone. The rough is from Kenya. Measures 7.8 mm.
