Custom Jewelry made with Precision Gems
On this page are pieces of jewelry made with my gemstones. Most of these are from Jewelers who are my customers and are not for sale since they were commissioned work. If you have a piece of jewelry made with one of my stones, I would be proud to display on this page, and give any credits or links back to the artist who created it.
This ring was made by R.W. Wise Goldsmiths. The stone is a 2.96 ct. Umba Sapphire/Ruby that is all natural not heated. The ring is hand made, not cast, from 18 kt. gold, with beautiful quality workmanship and finish. The ring was a gift from me to my wife.

I cut this untreated Winza Ruby recently, and one of my regular customers quickly picked up it and had it set by Ann McKay Studio - 570-320-0866. The setting compliments stone well, I really like the different metals and the 22 kt gold against the stone.
A good customer of mine in the UK had these two stones set. The blue/green is an opposed bar cut tourmaline, and the purple/blue stone is a sapphire from Umba Tanzania. She also happens to a supporter or our fight against puppy mills, and the event Sound for the Hounds.

This stone is an Aquamarine that was custom cut for a customer Robin D. I'm not sure who the jeweler was on this one.

This next ring was made by Diane at Meltingpoint Jewelers in Buffalo, NY. This one is a two piece ring made with a few diamonds and then an assortment of some of my smaller sapphires and a ruby.

Here's another spinel in a 3 stone ring custom made by George Murtha Jewelers in Buffalo, NY.

A very popular jeweler from Arizona, Julia Kay Taylor made these lovely rings. The ladies ring is a Spinel, and the mans a Malaya Garnet. If you are looking for bezels, Julia should be one to call.

This one is a really unique ring. A customer called me, and was looking for a stone that had the look of a snowflake. She wanted something pure white. I had a few pieces of colorless topaz, so I put together this stone. About 40% of the facets are frosted. This makes them really jump out at you. The setting was done by Brian Knox, of Knox Jewelers Minneapolis.

The following rings were made by Lisa Hunter Jewelry in Williamsville NY.
This first one is a pink tourmaline, then a blue zircon, and a rubellite tourmaline from Nigeria

This one was sent in from a good Pricescope customer. Pricescope members are certainly the most knowledgeable customers I have, as this forum presents a wealth of information and opinions on everything to do with gems and jewelry.
The stone here is an Asscher cut Chrysoberyl, with a custom bezel setting by Whiteflash

Here’s a few photo’s of one of my Umbalite garnets purchased by another Pricescope member, and set by James Meyer. James does very nice hand work with a distinctive style. I have heard wonderful things about James from several of my customers.

A ring made with one of my Malaya garnets from Tanzania. This one was done by Brian Gavin Diamonds. The photo doesn't really show the stone too well, the color on the stone is fantastic. Notice how the high crown and checker cutting create a lot of dispersion.

Another creation by Brian Gavin, this time with a 5 sided tsavorite garnet. It seems that many people shy away from the less traditional cuts, cut look at the results when these stones are in the hands of a custom goldsmith! A beauitiful unique one of kind.

One of my Star Cut stones in a unique ring. This one was created by Images Jewelers.

This is a large asscher type cut stone, that was set by Hunt Country Jewelers of Hillsboro, VA. This ring is actually featured on their home page.

The following are a few pieces that I'm not sure which jeweler made, but they should be displayed here. The stones are a Asscher type cut Aquamarine, and two Tsavorite garnets.
