Chrome Tourmalines are one of my favorites. The intense
green color due to chromium sets it apart from the more
common green tourmaline. True chrome green tourmaline
gems are only found in Tanzania. A chrome tourmaline
can easily be separated from a green tourmaline by
looking at it through a chelsea filter. A true chrome
will look red, where as a green tourmaline will look
green.
